The big advantage so far of broadwell over haswell cpus is power consumption. The i7-5500U have only 2 cores, and its a little slower, so I would not go with the Dell 5548 for professional work. I dont know how well the i7-5500U can run them but it's almost a certitude that the i7-4710MQ (found in the HP ENVY 17-J185NA) will run them better. Sorry, I forgot to mention adobe applications.
